Star City UBE
This is the second time that I spent my annual post-Christmas routine with my guild mates. Thanks to Jeff, Dave, Meloy, Kate, Dax and Jer for spending it with me.

So we went to Star City like what I always do every year after Christmas. I had a lot of fun spending it with them even though we only get to ride 2 rides; twice with the Star Flyer and once with the Surf Dance. We did enter some horror houses but I think some people are only using it to cool themselves up since it's cold inside.

I ate quite a lot tonight too but only because I was really hungry and tired from walking and waiting in line. I had a shawarma, 8 pieces of siomai, longganisa with rice meal, 2 sprite-in-can, 2 coke-in-can, 1 coke float, 2 bottles of coke (from the 1.5L we bought for everyone) and kwek-kwek (fried quail egg covered with flour).

We ended the night by walking from Star City to Taft Avenue so we can get a cab that will take us home. It was an amazing night even though some of our friends weren't able to come because of personal reasons. I truly enjoyed the evening and I hope that more people will join next year.

Till next post~ :3
Holy Order Report: Level Up! Live
Level Up!'s 2-day gaming event has ended yesterday. This is our second year to join the guild booth and cosplay competition.

We used the cauldron area (a zone in RF Online) as the central theme for our guild booth. There were four monsters in the background and a male bellato character that is ready to whack the monsters, all made by Jason (SilentControl) with the help of Michael (MoonEvil) by using styropor and water-based paint. I also have to mention the others who helped those two in building the booth, namely, Mike (Antherion), Bots (Tango), Allen (Rolf), Dax (Xadie), Pau (Sachiel), Jeff (Hoseah), Mark (Jylichan), Allan (Dave), Ria (Astraea), Meg (Meggy), Kate (Ascheleigha), and Curby (Zeek) because they have been working in the World Trade Center since Friday morning and I think they really do deserve the credit for their hard work. There are others more who helped by donating funds and other stuff that we can use for the booth. And because of all that, our booth won and received the title Best RF Booth.

The finished HolyOrder™ Booth.

As for the cosplay competition, Zeph (Learsea), who is last year's best female cosplayer, joined once again and her costume this time is a Corite ranger's Palmas Armor. And who would forget her spiel... *holds chest* +7 to... *holds bottom* +7 din to... *looks at the audience* Gusto nyo +7 ko din kayo?. Everyone literally jumped from their seat and roared, especially the guys. We also have Ria (Astraea) who cosplayed a Bellato armsmaiden who is wearing a spiritualist's Palmas Armor because she trained her Force PT to max. In the end, Zeph's spiel and sexy costume made her grab the title, Best Female Cosplayer, for the 2nd time.

You can surely expect us to set up a booth once again in Level Up! Live 2010. We'll also try to cosplay as a group as requested by the Empress Elnore.

Runes of Magic PH Alpha 2

The entrance to Varanas City. Stormwind, much?

The 2nd alpha phase of Runes of Magic PH will end tonight. The 4 days of Alpha 2 was short and I wasn't able to play that much because of a family member's death due to the previous storm that hit Northern Luzon but that's for another entry.

I was able to test the duel feature though and be able to create a skill build for my future Priest/Knight. The low defense rating that most spell casters have can be remedied by the knight's skills especially the parry, stamina and armor rating passive buffs. With those buffs, I can support my party mates without dying so often. There's also a priest skill where you can remove the aggro from you for 5 seconds which is good for mobbing or boss hunting since healing spells can generate a lot of hate if used often. There's also an elite skill for the Priest/Knight combo that increases the effectiveness of heal and reducing MP cost but it will also halved your magical attack power but as a full support priest, I don't think it's really a bad thing.

For now, I'll just have to wait for the next alpha test or hopefully, the closed beta test so I can test my build further. I haven't tested it for dungeon raiding and group PvP.

Welcome to my new blog!
The last time I blogged was a year ago so I decided to create a new one instead of reviving my old blog. I hope I can be more active with the posting this time. You'll probably find more updates in my plurk page than here though but I will try to update my blog at least once a week.
